ACR Recruitment Ltd are looking for a skilled Tooling Engineer to join one of our Engineering clients on a permanent Basis in Coventry. This role involves assisting in ensuring components are produced correctly by supplying correct and accurate tooling to operatives.
Candidates must have previous proven experience as a Tooling Engineer in a similar role to apply for this role.
Duties to include
- Making sure machine processes are running at optimum efficiency in regards the tooling required
- support and advise other employees when required in regards to tooling
- Ensuring all operations are carried out efficiently and accurately to customers’ requirements, drawing tolerance and specifications
- effective and regular communication with CNC supervisors and programme writers ensuring loading board instructions are accurate and up to date and that the section runs at maximum production
- Making sure all tooling requirements are in place before component is loaded onto machine
- making sure that tooling set up sheets and kitting lists are adhered to and assist in developing company procedures
- set up sheets and kitting lists are edited to incorporate latest standards and instructions where necessary and ensure they are effectively communicated to all personnel
- feedback to line managers and supervisors and changes to programmers before changing masters
- tooling is set correctly and accurately ready for use by operator
- Make sure H&S rules and regulations are adhered to at all times

£14-£16 p/h depending on experience
