ACR Recruitment & Training LTD are looking for a passionate and motivated Senior Room Leader and a Nursery Practitioner with a minimum Level 2 qualification and knowledge of the EYFS to join our successful team, working in Childcare settings throughout Oxfordshire.

Nursery Nurse Qualification:

  • Level 2 or 3 Early years/ Nursery Qualifications and Level 2 or 3 TA

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To work as a member of a team to provide a safe, caring, stimulating environment for the children, in line with the EYFS.
  • To provide a wide variety of activities for the children
  • To ensure the maintenance of adequate standards of cleanliness and hygiene for the children attending the nursery. This includes changing nappies and toilet training (this maybe as some nurseries, not all)
  • To undertake certain domestic jobs within the nursery, e.g. Cleansing of equipment etc and the cleaning of rooms. Ensuring the nursery is kept clean and tidy.
  • To keep up to date with the Health and Safety at work Act.
  • To assist with serving the children’s lunches, Respect Preferences, Adhere to Allergies
  • To ensure that all policies/procedures and risk assessments are read, understood, and adhered to.
  • To respect the confidentiality of all information received.

As a Senior Room Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of a nursery room, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care.

  • Manage the nursery staff and provide leadership and guidance
  • Develop and implement educational programs in line with early childhood education standards
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children
  • Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment
  • Drive continuous improvement in nursery operations

Qualifications:

  • Experience in childcare or early childhood education
  • Strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Ability to interact with and manage children in a nursery setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
