ACR Recruitment & Training LTD are looking for a passionate and motivated Qualified nursery practitioner, room leader, and assistant deputy Manager with a minimum Level 2 qualification and knowledge of the EYFS to join our successful team, working in Childcare settings throughout Oxfordshire.
Nursery Nurse Qualification:
- Level 2 or 3 Early years/ Nursery Qualifications and Level 2 or 3 TA
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To work as a member of a team to provide a safe, caring, stimulating environment for the children, in line with the EYFS.
- To provide a wide variety of activities for the children
- To ensure the maintenance of adequate standards of cleanliness and hygiene for the children attending the nursery. This includes changing nappies and toilet training (this maybe as some nurseries, not all)
- To undertake certain domestic jobs within the nursery, e.g. Cleansing of equipment etc and the cleaning of rooms. Ensuring the nursery is kept clean and tidy.
- To keep up to date with the Health and Safety at work Act.
- To assist with serving the children’s lunches, Respect Preferences, Adhere to Allergies
- To ensure that all policies/procedures and risk assessments are read, understood, and adhered to.
- To respect the confidentiality of all information received.
As a Nursery Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care.
- Manage the nursery staff and provide leadership and guidance
- Develop and implement educational programs in line with early childhood education standards
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children
- Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment
- Drive continuous improvement in nursery operations
Qualifications
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to interact with and manage children in a nursery setting
