Job Description

ACR Recruitment & Training LTD are looking for passionate and motivated Qualified Nursery Practitioners, with a minimum Level 2 qualification and knowledge of the EYFS to join our successful team. You will be working in various childcare settings throughout Stratford-upon-Avon, offering a diverse and engaging work environment.

Nursery Nurse Qualification:

  • Level 2 or 3 Early Years/Nursery Qualifications

Job Type:

  • Full-time, Part-time, Full days
  • Several shift patterns with start times between 8 am and 9 am, and finish times between 5 pm and 6 pm
  • 1-5 days between Monday and Friday

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work as a member of a team to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for the children, in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Provide a wide variety of activities for the children.
  • Maintain adequate standards of cleanliness and hygiene for the children, including changing nappies and toilet training where necessary.
  • Perform domestic tasks within the nursery, such as cleansing equipment and keeping rooms clean and tidy.
  • Stay updated with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
  • Assist with serving the children’s lunches, respecting preferences, and adhering to allergy protocols.
  • Ensure that all policies, procedures, and risk assessments are read, understood, and adhered to.
  • Respect the confidentiality of all information received.

Salary:

Great rates of pay, up to £14 per hour including holiday pay.

Schedule:

  • 1-5 days between Monday and Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Stratford-upon-Avon: Must be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate before starting work.

Experience:

  • Nursery: 1 year (required)
  • Childcare: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving licence and access to your means of transport (required)
