ACR Recruitment and Training are seeking a permanent Deputy Manager/ Preschool Lead for our prestigious client in Coventry and surrounding area.
The Successful Candidate will be Responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
- Lead the Preschool team and ensure consistent delivery of the EYFS framework.
- Support and deputise for the Manager in their absence.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
- Oversee daily operations and manage staff effectively to maintain standards.
Job Purpose:
- Maintain accurate learning journals and development records for key children.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, learning, and resources within the nursery.
- Conduct staff supervisions, support professional development, and foster a positive team culture.
- Take on additional responsibilities, such as SENCO, safeguarding, or health & safety coordination.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including answering queries, managing risk assessments, and ensuring hygiene and safety standards.
- Represent the nursery professionally, providing tours and promoting its reputation to potential customers.
Required Experience
- 2-3 years of previous experience as a Deputy Manager in a nursery setting.
- Proven ability to manage the nursery in the Manager's absence.
- Experience in leading a Preschool team.
Working Hours:
- Hours per Week: 40 hours, 5 days a week (can accommodate 4.5 days if required).
- Term Time/All Year Round: All year round.
Shift Patterns:
- 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
