Contract Nursery Nurse Recruitment

ACR Recruitment & Training Ltd are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated contract staff to join our team. We are seeking passionate, hardworking, and reliable Nursery Nurses with a minimum Level 2 Childcare qualification to work in various childcare settings throughout Stratford-upon-Avon and the surrounding areas.

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 in Early Years/Nursery qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 1 year in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Licence/Transport: A valid driving licence and access to your own transportation (preferred).

Job Details:

  • Contract Hours: 3, 4, or 5 days between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm, up to 37.5 hours per week.
  • Benefits: A guaranteed contract that provides secure hours and a reliable wage in return for the flexibility to travel between different nursery settings in and around Stratford-upon-Avon.
  • Pay Rate: Up to £14.00 per hour, including holiday pay.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children, following the EYFS framework.
  • Organise and supervise a wide range of engaging activities for the children.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the nursery, including tasks such as changing nappies and assisting with toilet training.
  • Perform domestic duties, such as cleaning equipment and ensuring that rooms are clean and tidy.
  • Stay informed on Health and Safety regulations and follow all necessary safety guidelines.
  • Assist with serving meals, respecting dietary preferences, and adhering to allergy protocols.
  • Adhere to all nursery policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Uphold confidentiality of any sensitive information.

Location:

Candidates must be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate to Stratford-upon-Avon before starting work.
