ACR Recruitment and Training Ltd Technical Division have a fantastic opportunity for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join one of our Clients Maintenance departments on a full time basis.
To apply for this role you will already be a Time served Electrical Maintenance Engineer, applications from candidate who do not hold a HND but have demonstratable hands on experience within an engineering environment as a Electrical Maintenance Engineer.will also be considered for this role

Main Responsibilities
React to break-downs and quality issues using diagnostic skills to identify and rectify problems quickly and effectively.
Program and monitor the running of plant equipment to maximize through-put in line with agreed quality standards.
Assist/Support Automation, Processing, Tooling departments
Undertake planned maintenance & work requests ensuring all documentation is complete
Work as a member of the shift team, maximizing efforts to meet priorities and having a longer-term view to continuous improvement
Input into manufacturing facilities (layouts, services etc.)
Always follow environmental policies and procedures.
Take appropriate actions in emergency situations
Report any environmental issues to departmental Coordinator/Manager
Provide engineering and technical services to improve the performance of the plant
Ensure PM & Work requests are carried on schedule and documentation is completed
Knowledge of quality standards
To project a professional image of the company to customers/visitors
To use the escalation procedure for any issues/concerns eg. Quality/downtime
Comply with Health & Safety and Environmental Policies
Comply with the General Risk Assessments
Comply with the Manual Handling Risk Assessments
Comply with COSHH Risk Assessments
Comply with the Lock Out Tag Out Procedure (where applicable)
Comply with the Safe System of Work documents
Take appropriate actions in emergency situations
Qualifications or Functional Experience
Must have served a formal apprenticeship in an electrical discipline ( C&G/ ONC )
Will be fully trained with process and machine systems
Strong diagnostic skills, good numeracy and communication (both oral and written) skills
Reactive to changing requirements
Ability to write technical reports and to work with the complete shift team
Ability to work using own initiative with minimum supervision
Ability to work under pressure as well as listen and follow strict guidelines where applicable
· Must have a strong attention span with a good eye for detail.
System or Knowledge

Robotic experience –
Experience of hydraulics and PLC work.
Electrical fault finding
CNC machinery experience
Computer literate with good excel and access database skills.
Hours of work rotating shift 6-2 2-10 10-6 rotating weekly. Additional attractive shift allowance of £127 per month paid.
