Description

ACR Recruitment and Training are recruiting for a Clean Assembly Operative for our busy client based in Basildon.

Duties:

Assembly of components, sub-assemblies of production and / or development products according to set procedures.

Inspection & testing of products including operation of automatic test equipment as necessary.

Responsibility of self-inspection thereby requiring high level of accuracy and quality of work.

Pack and identify products as per packaging instructions.

To work closely with the manufacturing team to meet daily targets.

Ensure assembled components meet the criteria of the work instructions / visual aids.

Accurately completes all logs, to include parts produced and rejected, regular checks and downtime.

Ensures that safe working practices are followed and contributes ideas to simplification and standardization of the workplace.

Perform final inspection on production parts.

Perform first off visual checks of parts.

To follow work instructions as needed.

To maintain a clean area and performs general housekeeping.

Uphold all polices in relation to health, Safety and Welfare

Skills/qualifications:

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Attention to detail.

Able to perform basic math’s function.

Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and reliability.

Proactive and innovative.

To work effectively on your own and as part of a team, with a positive 'can-do’ attitude.

The ability to prioritise workload.

The ability to work well and accurately in a time-constrained and pressured environment.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

A high standard of personal appearance

Friday 7:30am - 1:45pm
